User Contributions (Conan Project)

The Conan Project is intended as a reference work and graphic catalog for the benefit of the Conan user community and it is to this end that user contributions are both encouraged and accepted.


Image Contributions

Comic Books and Magazines

Please refer to the following sub-section menu pages for issues that are missing:
Comic Books: Conan the Barbarian
Comic Magazines: Savage Sword
in each case, issues that are marked "Ref" (for some type of Reference garnered from another issue) or "Empty" are in need of images to complete the page.

Before submitting any images please email me to inform me of your intentions, as there are currently a couple of folks actively making submissions.

Image Submissions

Images should be submitted via email.

Please submit images as a .bmp file. Alternately, I can also accept images created by Picture Publisher (Micrografx) v.5.0 (.pp5) or v.6.0 (.ppf).

Submissions should be proportionally resized (from the original scan) to (??? x 700), and should have a color depth of 24-bit (16 million colors).

In addition to Cover images, the First Page of Story images are also needed. I realize that obtaining these images may subject the source material to more handling than some collectors are willing to endure, so use your best judgement.

For all submissions please include the following information: issue date, writer/artist/other credits, story title, "story based on" credit, any interesting tid-bits garnered from the Hyborian Page or responses to Letters to the Editor.

Paperback Book Series (Lancer, Ace, and Others)

Currently I am focused on the group of works based on the writings of Robert E. Howard as presented in the Lancer and Ace Books published in the 1960's, 70's, and 80's. These are the stories that introduced me to the character of Conan the Barbarian.

I would be interested in Book Cover images for any books that are not currently present; see the indivdiual Book Covers page for each book in the sub-section
The First Twelve Books.

Image submissions should follow all of the guidelines outlined above. The only exception being that images should be submitted at their original scanned size.

Submission Credit

All submissions will be credited, please indicate whether you want an email link attached to your name. Submission credit for images and story information on all pages where they appear, and the submission credit will also appear on the page
